This probably means Golden Beast Tamer returns at three/four of for situations where Luquier doesn't need to spit out a new board, and something like Endive Beast Tamer (which I already see played more often) becomes a staple, for when you get to ride Doriane. Given that the best clans after this restriction list are board control clans, that isn't great. Not for consistency reasons, since Lillian still exists, but because it's immunity to field wipe is now once or twice per game. The Riviere errata is also an admission of poor design, although it's hilarious that it's literally now a worse Great Daiyusha.ĭoriane at 1 is a pretty big hit to Pale Moon. ![]() ![]() I think Tachikaze can survive this though, since it keeps all of its gauge turbo cards, which bodes well for any potential Megarex builds. This isn't some random common or rare that's part of a broken combo, this is a VR, it costs a fair amount money, and slicing its price in half feels awful if you own it, while also basically being an admission of bad design. Something does feel wrong about putting Angerblader at 1. To their credit, that makes sense: facing and endless swarm of huge attacks from both decks on turn 3 is not fun, and it's especially bad for slower decks, which were having a tough time to begin with. With both the Riviere and Angerblader hits, it seems like Bushiroad's main aim was to stop decks from being able to win without their opponents being able to stop them. ![]()
